Properties:
Gray-white powder or granule with litter bitter,no poison.The density is 1.45-1.54.Soluble in Chloroform,party soluble in ethyl acetate,water and gasoline.Good storage stability.Lower explosion limit is 21g/ m3
Applications
Given flat, moderately fast cures in NR and SR. Also used in wide range of general purpose rubbers. Non-staining& non-discoloring in white stocks; use as a plasticizer/ retarder in polychloroprene rubber. Secondary acceleration is usually required for synthetic polymers. Exhibits better scorch safety than MBT. Used in the production of tires,foot wear Rubber belt and hose etc.
